Hundreds of schoolchildren took to the stage as part of a two-night carol concert spectacular at Bournemouth Pavillion.
It was the 56th annual Bournemouth Schools’ Music Association Carol Concert with 600 children from primary and secondary schools in the borough performing in the youth orchestra and Bournemouth Youth Choir.
More than 1,200 parents, friends and family members were in the audience to see what was, at the time, Bournemouth’s longest-running annual event.

Cash raised from both evening performances on December 2 and 3, 2003, went towards enhancing musical education for children who attended schools throughout Bournemouth.
The audiences were also entertained with performances by pupils from Linwood School and Queen’s Park Infant School.
These pictures were snapped at the concert 20 years ago.
The event still runs to this day and took place on November 21 and 22 this year.
