GAS works scheduled for more than three months are set to start in Boscombe.
The works, by SGN, mean there will be no parking, waiting or loading at any time on the southern side of Manor Road, from Wingfield Court to the property boundary of numbers 81/83.
Engineers will be carrying out gas connection work at the site from October 8 up until January 25.
Sections of the payment parking bays will be closed and reopened as the work progresses along the road.
A BCP Council spokesman said: "Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety.
"These arrangements may be amended or extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations.
"Restrictions may be in effect under this order for up to 18 months and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State."
