TWENTY NINE more people have tested positive for Covid 19 in Dorset.
Latest figures from Public Health England released on the government website show another 22 cases in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council area in the 24-hours up to 4pm on Tuesday, September 28.
That brings the total number of cases since the start of the pandemic to 1,208 with a rating per 100,000 of the population to 305.6
In the Dorset Council area, a further seven cases have been confirmed bringing the overall number of cases to 777.
The rate is 205.3.
The New Forest has seven new cases. The total number of cases rises to 606 with a rate of 336.5.
Nationwide, a further 71 people who have tested positive for coronavirus have died.
The total number of confirmed deaths in the UK now stands at 42,072
There were no deaths reported in hospitals in the south west yesterday
