ENGINEERS have been working in a major Poole road since late last night after a car hit a telegraph pole.
Emergency services were called to the A350 Blandford Road North near Randalls Hill shortly after 9.10pm.
It is understood that no one was injured in the collision. However, emergency repairs were required.
A spokesperson from Dorset Police said: "Police were called to a single-vehicle collision at 9.13pm.
"One lane was closed and the vehicle involved was recovered.
"Police remained at the scene until 12.50am. Officers notified the electricity company and the local authority."
The road remains partially blocked and temporary traffic lights are in place.
