A MAN used "sleight of hand" to steal cash from a Bournemouth post office last month, police say.

CCTV images of the suspect have been released after an incident at the post office in Broadway, Southbourne at around 10am on Saturday, October 20.

Staff were asked by a man to change £900 into £10 notes. The man then asked for £20 notes and then Euros.

He then said he no longer wanted cash, and instead asked to make a money transfer.

PC Sara Watts, who is investigating the incident, said that in the confusion, the man used sleight of hand to steal €320 and £340.
