AN OFF-DUTY paramedic and a passing fire crew gave first aid to a woman who was hurt in a collision with a taxi.
The pedestrian was hurt in St Paul's Road, near Bournemouth train station just after 1am on Saturday.
She was spotted by the paramedic and the passing fire crew from Springbourne fire station and they gave her first aid until an ambulance arrived.
A Dorset police spokesman said the road was closed after 40 minutes after the collision, involving a black Skoda Octavia owned by a Bournemouth man.
The woman was taken to hospital but is not believed to have suffered life threatening injuries.
